It is designed to replace your hubs current axle size. It will not allow for converting from non boost to boost. Comes as a complete kit only which includes a new Driveshell, Axle and Adjusting Clamp design. Previously it was possible to just swap over the Driveshell only, but due to the recent redesign of the axle (to fit the new Boost
