They are thicker at the top and thinner at the bottom, so add 5 degrees of "trim in", whilst also reducing the "tilt out" angle by 5 degrees. Sometimes fitted where the outboard cowling hits the boat bulkhead when in the trailer position. High quality, cast aluminum Adds 5 degrees of "trim in" angle

Don't think you are getting a professional divider. These things are pressed cardboard, they rattle and they have no sound reduction. I would return if it wasn't such a pain to dis assemble and repackage. We bought three for our office, but the other two will immediately be returned on Monday.....WASTE of time and money.
