The provincial and regional parks are numerous; it is difficult to find hiking guidebooks for areas besides near Victoria. What's special about the British Columbia atlas is that it is spiral bound. I just replaced my Oregon atlas after 20 years because the cover had ripped up and torn off and the pages were falling out.
