R.K.W.43 RFI43 Enameled CanteenA very nice example of a mid late war 3 4L enameled canteen. The bottle and cover are unmarked. The leather strap is marked R. K. W. 43 and the cup is marked RFI 43. It is not a mint canteen, but good to very good. The leather is quite flexible. The cup is dirty, but not chipped and damaged like so many of this sort of cup. I tried these because the reviewer's pictures look like these would work. I will assume the integrity of the reviewer and their word that the grills in the pictures are legitimately this brand grills. Which means something terrible happened to the manufactures molds from the time the reviewer got theirs to the time I received mine. I ordered the correct ones for my pre-facelift model and the quality looked promising however the top edge was inset about a 1/4 inch from the OEM one and they wiggled around to the point that there was NO CHANCE of them staying in on the way out of my garage. Don't waste your time and money. Just spend the extra $50 to get the ones from bimmerworld.
