It was made by Cecilia featuring a traditional faja sash design commonly found in the Guatemalan Mayan dress from Lake Atitlan. All belts are made in house from dyeing the thread in a non toxic way with plants and cochineal to producing unique designs. There are only a few belts made of each style. These sandals are definitely a platform if you’re looking for a bit of height but they’re also well made, comfortable and in my opinion much firmer support than another popular brand. They look great and they’re versatile. I purchased the black ones the color is a true deep black not gray-ish at all.
