Georgian Six Stone Amethyst RingA beautiful Georgian Amethyst ring. The gold band is set with six foil and close backed Amethyst cabochons. Tests as 9ct gold. UK size J 1 2 US size 5 It would be possible to size this ring slightly. Great clean condition. Amethysts are secure light abrasion to a couple of stones. Sizing marks on edges of shoulders where the shank joins the stones (possibly reshanked). Cabochon stones were rarely used in early jewellery so there is a possibility these
