He discovered everything that seemed hopelessly mucked up in the prison system. So Peter, the ever-observant statistician, dug deep into the root causes of the massive dysfunction. He then began detangling each individual man's predicament with precision. And love. He genuinely cared about the prisoners and their families, their lives and their future. And when he left, he continued to work to change things for the better. That is honorable and commendable.
