This one has more of that genuine, earthy, slightly umami flavor that I usually experience at Japanese matcha cafes. Mine was fresh, smooth, and produced a really delightful latte. It definitely wasnโ€™t โ€œfishyโ€ like some reviews suggested. I also noticed some people complained about bitterness, but using water thatโ€™s too hot can ruin almost any matcha. Once I prepared it correctly, the flavor was balanced and clean. For the price, I actually think itโ€™s a pretty solid everyday ceremonial-style matcha.
