My desktop is an old butcher block so I opted to use the screws. It was fairly easy to install using the measuring strip that was provided. The holes you drill don’t have to be perfect because the net has elastics that you can tighten and also keep from hanging too low. The net is not visible when standing. For wire organizing the net works best for me since I travel for work and have to unplug my devices often. It keeps the floor clear and easier to clean around.

I really like this product. My desk is just a regular table, so I wanted something to hide by bulky laptop and monitor adapters, and this does the job perfectly. It gets everything off the floor and out of view. Plus, it comes with some bonus Velcro cable ties and adhesive cable clips to help further wrangle cable chaos. I was hesitant at first because of the price, but it’s clear that it is a sturdy well-made product. The mesh is finer than other slings I’ve seen, so cords and other things won’t get tangled in it or fall through. I didn’t end up screwing the anchors into the table like you’re supposed to; I just used some large adhesive cable clips instead, which seems to work for now.
