When the purse arrived, I immediately understood why it’s priced the way it is. The craftsmanship, from the stitching to the overall quality, truly stands out. Quite obviously you are paying for the name with this - as a middle-class mama wouldn't normally pay $200 for a clutch. BUT, if you love and can afford Kate Spade, this doesn't disappoint. It's obviously high quality, and the tri-tone is beautifully neutral (will go with almost anything). I thought it would be bigger because I didn't do my research; 'pochette' is French for an envelope shaped handbag, and this is definitely that. More of a small clutch - that will fit your cellphone, sunglasses and a couple other essentials. I do love the slim wallet attached by a chain that sits in the front pocket, so you can access that without having to dig thru the purse. Beautiful gold details, and high-quality zipper. Definite splurge - just need to find some pumps to go with it now for the wedding I'm taking it to!
