My grand daughter wanted a purple Rumi look for her birthday party, the actual braid is synthetic hair, but the hair on her head is hers with this spray on it...she loved it and the color came out nicely on her dark blond colored hair!!! Pretty impressed by that!!! I didn't test it on dark hair, but I would think the purple would be darker on brown or black hair!!!
