Absolutely love this hand cream!
Scent: Lemon Cream, Size: 3.3 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I have really dry skin, partly because I take a chemo med for autoimmune issues that really dehydrated me no matter how much water I drink. Other lotions I bought were either too greasy and just sat on the surface of my skin OR simply werenโt hydrating enough. But this hand cream is my absolute favorite now. It is super moisturizing, but is also fully absorbed by my skin very quickly. Itโs honestly impressive. There was a nearly immediate, extremely noticeable difference in the condition of my skin after I started using this.
This lotion even seemed to solve a related issue I was having where my dead skin cells just refused to be shed, no matter how much I scrubbed in the shower or how much of my normal body lotion I applied. Sorry if itโs TMI, but literally minutes after applying this for the first time on my arms, I was able to basically just wipe off that dead layer of my skin, revealing much softer and more supple skin underneath. This is an issue that has been plaguing me for over a year that was seemingly solved in one day.
Additionally, I find that the scent is very pleasant. It weirdly reminds me of Froot Loops at first, but in the best way possible. Itโs just got that nice citrus-forward, sweet fragrance, and as it dries down the scent gets mellower and more creamy as the lemon settles into the background. Itโs definitely got a gourmand scent imo, but itโs not cloyingly sweet or artificial. It just genuinely smells like madeleines with lemon curd or something.
I think the Shea butter is largely responsible for the creamy, vanilla-like scent that develops after a couple minutes. Itโs very nice, I find myself smelling my hands for like an hour after I apply it because itโs just so delicious! It doesnโt have a strong throw at all once absorbed, the scent fades to only be detectable if someone is inches from your skin, so it hopefully shouldnโt annoy people around you unless they are severely intolerant to fragrance.
